Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is a physically demanding activity and does require a certain level of bike riding ability. There are some trails locally developed that cater for beginners through to advanced levels. Our activity session starts from the Youth Hostel at the Goods Shed. Once you have been assigned a Mountain Bike we give some basic skills training, where we also assess your riding ability, before setting out for the Mountain biking trails. We currently use tracks and trails that will allow you to develop your riding skills, negotiating some tight tracks and going over rough terrain.

This activity is available for our groups and individuals over 10 years. See cycling options for younger participants.

For groups private sessions can be run at any time of year.
