Archery is a less physically demanding activity, so it balances well with the more demanding physical activities that run during the day.
In our activity sessions, some training is given in basic Archery skills. You then have a chance to play some fun & sometimes competitive games, maybe ending with a team vs team competition.
This activity develops co-ordination, concentration and self-discipline.
We have equipment in differing sizes, including right hand and left hand marksmen and can run sessions for a wide range of different clients, from families, young birthday parties through to sessions for societies/clubs, corporate team building or adult groups.
We have 2 Archery Ranges at YHA Okehampton The Goods Shed, and 1 Range at YHA Bracken Tor for groups or for people wanting to use the Function Room for corporate events.
During the summer holidays book an individual session on our 1 hour “drop-in” sessions.
