Fancy a weekend on Dartmoor and want the stress taking out of planning it? Why not book an Adventure Activity Weekend at YHA Okehampton or YHA Okehampton Bracken Tor. We can combine some more gentle pastimes, such as guided walks, orienteering, archery, bushcraft with a few more strenuous activities such as Rock Climbing or Cycling. Select 2 or 3 activities a day and then add on our catering packages. Weekend sorted!

We can even organise a guided walk to the pub with a taxi back afterwards.

Skills training

Find out more about our various courses to improve your outdoor skills. We run British Canoeing Paddle Skills courses. The first course is on our Lakes and the second level can include the River Trip.

School Residentials

Booking a school residential at YHA Okehampton always includes an element of problem solving, team building, improving self-confidence and awareness, but is always fun-filled adventures as well.

Leadership training

We offer different Leadership training course suitable for 16 years plus, that help develop young people. These are suitable for Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award residentials

Our great activities

We offer over 15 different activities at Adventure Okehampton. During the summer we run a great programme of fun for the family suitable for children age 5 or more.
