Acknowledging support from LEADER Grant for YHA Bracken Tor 2017

In 2017, Dartmoor Active Leisure got a grant from the LEADER funds that part supported the development on the function room. This allowed the addition of the Muti-use space, providing groups with better classroom facilities as well as a common dining area with a commercial kitchen, making it easier to cater for large groups.

Acknowledging support from Devon Elevation Fund 2022

In 2022, Dartmoor Active Leisure got a grant from the Devon County Council –  Devon Elevation Fund  that supported the feasibility study for further developments at the YHA Bracken Tor site. This study has helped us in our goal to increase the sustainability of the business and extend the seasonal employment of staff.

We would therefore like  to gratefully acknowledge the following without whose support, the commissioning of this project would not have been possible.
