At Adventure Okehampton we are able to offer all types of birthday parties for adults and children.
YHA Bracken Tor offers options that include use of the function room as well as on-site activities like mountain boarding, archery, high ropes and bushcraft. YHA Okehampton offers options that include on-site activities like low ropes, archery, climbing wall and campfire.
Want a bigger adventure, then go off-site to our lakes for a waterspouts day or rock climbing day and come back for the party?
All activities can be taken throughout the year.
Catering Options
If you want to celebrate further, then book a party afterwards. For children, we’ve done Pizza, Fish Fingers, Chicken Nuggets and Chips. For Adults we’ve organised Hog Roasts, Hot Buffets, Carvery style meal through to 4 course meals with table service. We have a fully licensed bar at both hostels.
Want a longer celebration?
Then make it a weekend and hire the whole hostel for friends and family! Both YHA Bracken Tor and YHA Okehampton may be booked for one night or more. We recommend Bracken Tor (House or Lodge), as it is a great venue for a weekend party. We can run a cash bar for you, and you can invite your family and friends to join you for a party. We’ve organised Ceilidh bands, rocks bands as well as simple discos.
