Whilst you may think that Adventure Activities are more suitable for young groups, we have successfully developed other team building activities that have been adapted for corporate clients, including problem solving sessions, less strenuous activity sessions with teambuilding and orienteering,
As we have great function room, this can be used for brain storming sessions, corporate planning days, strategy planning and a variety of different types of meeting. Catering can be provided to make the day more comfortable with teas/coffees through to buffet lunches. Then add an activity session on, aimed at taking people minds away from the exercise to understand team working better, and then come back refreshed to look at the problem again.
Day Workshops
Book our function room for your corporate team building event. Arrive at the hostel in time for a late breakfast, ready to fortify your day. All our activity sessions are perfect for groups small or large, with key skills such as team building as a central core aim, as well as developing an individual’s social awareness, motivation and self confidence.
The function room seats about 70 around the tables or 120 theatre style. Hence we can deliver successful corporate days with group sizes from 6 – 100 people, and pricing is dependent on group size, activity package and time period required.
Add Activities
At Bracken Tor, the venue is ideal for a corporate away-day. On site we can run team building sessions on the High Ropes course, an orienteering session on the edge of Dartmoor or try out your marksmanship on the Archery Range.
All of these activities can be tailored to groups of all ability and fitness levels.
Want to stay longer?
If you are planning a longer meeting in the southwest, YHA Okehampton or YHA Bracken Tor could be your ideal base sleeping groups from 36 to 125 people. The venues can be booked on exclusive hire (sole use) on a self-catering basis or add catering (Breakfast, Lunch and evening meals) as required.
There is parking at both sites for cars, minibuses and coaches.
